Istanbul Aydın University

Istanbul Aydın University (Turkish: İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi) is a private university founded on May 18, 2007, in Istanbul, Turkey by extension of its predecessor, the vocational college of Anadolu BIL that existed since September 26, 2003.[3]

The university is a technology center built on an area of 175,000 m2 (1,880,000 sq ft). Current covered space of 3,000 m2 (32,000 sq ft) will expand to 30,000 m2 (320,000 sq ft) when the construction of the technopark is completed.[4]

Establishment of Aydin University

Based on the slogan "To a bright future", Aydın University Turkey was established in 2007 by the Anadolu Foundation for Education and Culture (AKEV) with an experienced academic staff whose members gained fame for their scientific studies in Turkey and the world and with a campus located in the center of Istanbul.

Aydin Istanbul University maintains its leadership through its graduates who started working immediately after graduation thanks to the career planning and training it provides to its students throughout their university studies, which is 83.6%, as stated on the university's official website.

University Goal:

Aydin University seeks to be an educational institution that serves the community through education, training, and high-level research by leveraging its state-of-the-art infrastructure to accelerate the transformation of information into a product and focus on interdisciplinary basic and applied research to gain professional competence within international standards.

It also aims to be a center of attraction for students and academics on the national and international scene by rehabilitating its campus so that it has all the factors that help in absorbing different cultures from different countries to prepare students as competent individuals in their professions, taking into account the individual differences between them in an environment of global competition and cultural differences to establish national and international cooperation with the academic world, the business world, and non-governmental organizations to encourage society and individuals to learn for life.

University Vision:

Aydin University's vision is to be a leading higher education institution that trains and qualifies individuals to benefit humanity by transforming knowledge into production by acquiring professionalism in education programs that can renew themselves in line with contemporary changes to achieve sustainable innovations[5]
