2020–21 Orlando Magic season

The 2020–21 Orlando Magic season was the 32nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the regular season for the league began on December 22, 2020 and featured a 72-game schedule rather than the typical 82-game schedule.[1] The Magic missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2017–18 season. Following the season, head coach Steve Clifford and the Magic mutually agreed to part ways after three seasons with the team.[2]
