Previous season

The Wildcats finished the 2022–23 season 16–16, 8–10 in A-10 Play to finish in a 3 way tie for eighth place. As, 8th seed, they defeated St. Bonaventure in the second round of the A–10 Tournament before losing to VCU in the quarterfinals.
