2023–24 Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team

The 2023–24 Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team will represent the University of Iowa during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team will be led by 14th-year head coach Fran McCaffery and will play its home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena as members of the Big Ten Conference.

Previous season

The Hawkeyes finished the 2022–23 season 19–14, 11–9 in Big Ten play to finish in a four-way tie for fifth place.[1][2] As the No. 5 seed in the Big Ten tournament, they lost to No. 13-seeded Ohio State in the second round. The Hawkeyes received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 8 seed in the Midwest region where the lost to Auburn in the First Round.[3]
