2023 Tel Aviv mayoral election
The 2023 Tel Aviv mayoral election will be held in October 2023 to elect the mayor of Tel Aviv. The election will be part of the 2023 Israeli municipal elections. Campaign issues include the increasing cost of living,[1] the local real estate market and high housing costs,[2] frequent traffic jams,[3][4] the construction and delayed opening of the Tel Aviv Light Rail,[5] and public transportation on Shabbat.[6][7]

Candidates that withdrew
- Amos Shapira, former President of Cellcom, El Al and the University of Haifa[13] Withdrew from race on August 20, 2023, supporting Barbivai.[14]
- Asaf Zamir, former Minister of Tourism and former deputy mayor of Tel Aviv. He announced on August 28 that he was joining forces with Huldai.[15]
- Tzipi Brand, deputy mayor of Tel Aviv, joined Orna Barbivai.[16]
- Reuven Ladiansky, city councillor and former deputy mayor of Tel Aviv.[17]
