Abdullah Shah (footballer)

Abdullah Shah (born 6 February 2001) is a Pakistani footballer who plays as a centre-back for Dhivehi Sifainge in the Maldivian Second Division and the Pakistan national team.[1]

Club career

Abdullah started his career as a right-back at local Islamabad club Popo FC, becoming regular call up for the senior squad at the age of 16.[2] He was subsequently called by Pakistan Premier League club KRL in 2017.[2] After stints at Mehran FC Islamabad and Abdul FC Karachi, he joined SSGC F.C. in 2021.[1]

In 2022, he joined Dhivehi Sifainge in the Maldivian Second Division, becoming the youngest Pakistani player to feature in a foreign League at the age of 21.[3][4]

International career

Abdullah received his first senior international call-up for a friendly against Nepal on 16 November 2022.[5] He went on to make his debut in the eventual 0–1 defeat.[6][1]
