Adam Azimov
Adam Azimov is a Canadian film director.[1][2][3] He is an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre, where he participated in the Cineplex Entertainment Film Program (Directors' Lab) and the Short Dramatic Film Program.

Azimov grew up in Montreal, and attended Concordia University Communications Film Program.[4] He began his professional career as an editor before transitioning into directing, where he has created award-winning short films and commercials. Azimov won the Short Film award at the Reelworld Film Festival for his film Silent Cargo starring Ellen Wong.[2]
Azimov is based in Los Angeles, and has directed commercial campaigns for Adidas, Lexus, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, eBay, and Lincoln.[5] In 2019, he signed with Artclass Content for representation in the US.[2][3]

Art Class, launched by director Vincent Peone and EP Geno Imbriale in 2018, has added directors Adam Azimov and Eric Kiel to its roster. This marks Azimov's first official U.S. representation; he had previously been freelancing in the American ad market.

But that doesn't seem to bother Concordia students Shaughn McArthur and Adam Azimov, who will be going to there with the Concordia Volunteer Abroad Program (CVAP) in May. The two graduates can't wait to produce Project Uganda, a student film initiative that highlights the CVAP's most valuable asset: its volunteers.
