Ælfric

Ælfric (Old English Ælfriċ, Middle English Elfric) is an Anglo-Saxon given name, consisting of the elements alb and ric,[1] from the Proto-Germanic *albiz "elf", "supernatural being" and *rīkaz "chieftain", "ruler".
