Angshuman MBA

Angshuman MBA is a Bengali romantic comedy film directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha.[1] The story is written by Sanjeev Banerjee, with the screenplay by Rohit-Soumya.[1] It's about a father and son conflict and a love story between two very different people.[2][3] The film premiered on ZEE5 on September 29, 2023[3] featuring Aabhash Mukherjee, Soham Chakraborty, and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles.[4][5] The film also includes performances by Sumanta Mukherjee, Vivaan Ghosh, Paran Bandyopadhyay, and others.[4][6]

Plot

The film focuses on Anshuman (Soham Chakraborty) and Gopi (Aabhash Mukherjee), both Gujarati students pursuing their graduation together. Anshuman chooses to pursue an MBA to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams, while Gopi hails from a wealthy family. They decide to start a business related to marriage dynamics. Anshuman's life takes a different direction when he falls in love with Labanya (Koushani Mukherjee), leading to a unique love story.[1]

Shooting

The film was filmed in Kolkata and Darjeeling. After an initial round of shooting in June, production recommenced in August. The principal actors, including Soham Chakraborty and Koushani Mukherjee, were prominently engaged in filming at various locations in Kolkata.[7]

In August 2022, it was confirmed that the second phase of shooting for 'Anshuman MBA' had commenced. Soham Chakraborty and Koushani Mukherjee were announced as the featured pair in this installment.[4][2]
