Antonina Golubeva

Antonina Georgievna Golubeva ( Russian: Антонина Георгиевна Голубева , 13 January 1899 Moscow – 20 November 1989, Leningrad  ) was a Russian Soviet writer .[1]

Life

Antonina Golubeva was born into a working-class family. She worked as an actress and graduated from the Maxim Gorky Literary Institute in 1934.[2] Later, Golubeva worked as an editor for the literary magazine Zvezda and as an adviser to Lenfilm. [1]

Golubeva is mostly remembered for the short novel Urzhum's son ( Malčik iz Uržuma , 1936) about Sergei Kirov's childhood. The same topic is covered in Tales from Sergei Kostrikov ( Rasskazy o Serjože Kostrikove, 1953). [2]

In addition to children's books, Golubeva wrote plays. [1]

She married V. Z. Golubev, and then married Sergey Filippov. She was at the Siege of Leningrad.[2]
