Aqeel Ur Rehman Khan
Aqeel Ur Rehman Khan (Hindi: अक़ील उर रहमान, born 5 June 1961) is an Indian Politician. who served as member of the Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly.[1]

Early life
Aqeel was born to Khaleel Ur Rehman in Sambhal, District of Uttar Pradesh in 1961
Political career
Aqeel was elected a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first time in 2002 and in the general elections of April–May 2007 from the Bahujan Samaj Party. He was a member of the Public Accounts Committee of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly (2002–2003) and the Joint Committee on Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Denotified Castes.[2] And later, Aqeel was the Minister of State for Food Processing in the Mayawati government from October 11, 2002, to August 29, 2003, and a member of the Business Advisory Committee (2007–2008).[3]
