Army Institute of Military History
The Pakistan Army Institute of Military History (AIMH) is a military institute that is responsible for official records, archives, preserve, and compile the military history of the country, and to promote itself as a Center of Excellence for study of military history in the country.[2]

Its mission is to advise the army staff on historical matters in an event of conflict or peacetime, as well as preserving the history and heritage of the Pakistan Army.[3] The AIMH is attached with the IG T&E Br, currently based at the Army GHQ.[4]
