Taxonomy

Two subspecies are recognised:[2]

  • Asphodelus bento-rainhae subsp. bento-rainhae, endemic to the Gardunha range, Portugal.
  • Asphodelus bento-rainhae subsp. salmanticus Z.Díaz & Valdés, from western central Spain.
