Attack Energy SC

Attack Energy SC is an Afghan association football club from Herat that currently plays in the Afghanistan Champions League.[2] The club is managed by former Afghan international Ali Yarzada.[3]

History

Attack Energy SC was founded in 1947 and is a member of the regional Herat Football Federation.[4] In 2019 the team won its regional league, the Herat Champions Cup.[5] With a victory over Abu Muslim FC, Attack Energy SC clinched the Afghanistan Champions League championship with one game remaining.[1][6] The club went undefeated in eleven matches to secure the title in its first season in the league.[7][8] By winning the title, the club earned the right to compete in the AFC Champions League or AFC Cup if it met the required club licensing requirements.[9][10]
