B. Prasanna Kumar

Prasanna Kumar Basavalingappa better known as B. Prasanna Kumar[2][3][4] is an Indian politician. He was a Member of Legislative Assembly for Yelahanka constituency from 1999 to 2008[5] and Pulakeshinagar constituency from 2008 to 2013.[6][7]

Political career

B. Prasanna Kumar entered political life after his father B. Basavalingappa's (former minister) death and contested in his father's constituency in Yelahanka in 1993.[8]

B. Prasanna Kumar was born in the year 1953 on January 7th and is the son of The Great B.Basavalingappa. He has 2 children Dr.Lavanya Prasanna Kumar and Varun Prasanna Kumar. Dr.Lavanya Prasanna Kumar is a well-qualified doctor holding a degree in the field of MBBS and Varun Prasanna Kumar is MBA Double Graduate. B. Prasanna Kumar has 4 grandchildren namely M.Dharshan Kumar, M.Gaurav Kumar, Hansika Varun Prasanna Kumar, and Shreyas Varun Prasanna Kumar.
