Baba Adeeko
Babajide Ezekiel Adeeko (born 3 April 2003) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL League One side Wigan Athletic.

Club career
Adeeko signed his first professional contract with Wigan Athletic in June 2021.[1] He made his first team debut in the 2021–22 season, appearing as an substitute against Sunderland in the EFL Cup.[2]
He made his league debut on the opening day of the 2023–24 season, coming on as an substitute against Derby County.[3] He made his first league start on 15 August 2023 against Carlisle United.[4]
International career
In 2022, Adeeko was called up to the Republic of Ireland under-19 team for their Under-19 Championship qualifiers.[5] He made one appearance for the team in their 4–0 win against Armenia.[6]
In September 2023, he received his first call-up for the under-21 team,[7] and made his debut in a 3–2 win against Turkey.[8]
