Barkhatnaya Sopka

Barkhatnaya Sopka (Russian: Бархатная сопка, lit.'Velvet Hill') is a volcano located in the southern part of Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia, along the Paratunka River. The mountain complex is named by the red-velvety color of its volcanic deposits.
