Battle of Hadiya (1600s)
The Battle of Hadiya was fought between the forces of the Hadiya led by their Garad (chief) Sidi Mohammed, and the Ethiopian Empire under Emperor Susenyos I.[1]

The Ethiopian emperor came to the aid of the Christian Gurage people who had requested his assistance however the imperial forces were routed by the Hadiya militias.[2][3]
