Batzorig Vaanchig
Batzorig Vaanchig is a Mongolian throat singer known for singing Ode to Chinggis Khaan on top of a mountain in Mongolia. He later sang more Mongolian folk songs using his throat singing skills.

Biography
Batzorig was born in 1977 in Mongolia. In 2014 he started throat singing on Youtube. He uploaded a video of him singing Ode to Chinggis Khaan, a Mongol folk song, on top of a mountain in Bayanhongor, Mongolia.[1] The video got a total of 19 million views as of 2013. Batzorig is also part of a musical band called Khusugtun. In 2020, Batzorig posted a video of his throat singing with his daughter, Maral Vaanchig. The video also became famous as it reached almost 5 million views.[2]
On August 2023, Batzorig was on CNN performing his throat singing to Richard Quest in Ulaanbaatar, during Quest's visit in Mongolia.[3]
