Bellakath

Hilda Katherinne Huerta Diaz is a Mexican singer known professionally as Bellakath. She released the reggaeton single "Gatita" in 2022. And later on, in October 5, 2023, released her album "Kittyponeo"

Life

Huerta is from Agrícola Oriental in Iztacalco.[1] She attended Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades.[1] Huerta graduated with a law degree from National Autonomous University of Mexico.[1]

From 2018 to 2019, Huerta was a contestant on the dating show Enamorándonos.[2] She subsequently became a social media personality.[2] In 2020, she started her music career with the release of the singles, "La Gata De La Agricola Oriental" and "Lluvia De Micheladas."[3] On October 5, 2022, Huerta released the reggaeton single "Gatitia."[1] In December 2022, She faced allegations of plagiarism for her song "Gatita" (2022), after it went viral on TikTok, as users identified similarities to "La Carcacha."[4] Following accusations that she had misappropriated the track from another individual, "Gatita" was removed from several streaming platforms.[4]

In January 2023, she faced backlash from Enamorándonos host Carmen Muñoz for sharing a racist meme about Mexican actresses Yalitza Aparicio and Martha Higareda in 2019.[5]
