Benton, New Brunswick

Benton is a local service district that is partially within Carleton County and partially within York County in the Canadian province New Brunswick. Straddling the boundaries of two parishes – Woodstock and Canterbury – the local service district is divided into two designated places by Statistics Canada.[1]

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Benton recorded a population of 83, a 18.6% change from its 2011 population of 70. With a land area of 12.46 km2 (4.81 sq mi), it had a population density of 6.7/km2 (17.3/sq mi) in 2016.[2]
