Betsi Rivas

Betsi Gabriela Rivas Arteaga (born (1986-10-02)October 2, 1986, San Carlos, Cojedes, Venezuela[1]) is a weightlifter from Venezuela. She won the silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games for her native South American country in the – 48 kg weight division. Her first name is sometimes also spelled as Betsy.

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Rivas and the second or maternal family name is Arteaga.
