Bhimsen Beniwal

Bhimsen Beniwal (1925 – 2000, Hindi: भीमसेन बेनीवाल) was an Indian politician and farmer leader from Bikaner, Rajasthan.[1] He was a member Indian National Congress. He was a six time member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Lunkransar, Bikaner. His son Virendra Beniwal is also two term MLA from Lunkransar.[2][3][4]

Early life

Born on January 5, 1925, in the house of an ordinary farmer in Bandha village of Bikaner tehsil, Bhimsen was just three years old when his mother lost his life. Bhimsen's childhood was spent in difficulties, away from the love of motherhood. Despite adverse financial circumstances, the desire to become something and the curiosity to know the world outside the village always kept him motivated to pursue education. Despite not having adequate facilities in the village, M.A.L.L.B. is earning his living by giving tuition, etc. while staying away from home. Received education up to His body was definitely away from the village, but his mind always wandered in his village, and because of this attachment, he understood the pain and suffering of the farmers and also tried to solve their problems by sitting with them. Impressed by young Bhimsen's hard work and his human compassion, the farmers became his supporters and followers. At that time, the influence of Mahatma Gandhiji was on the political scene in India. Receiving inspiration and blessings from him, young Bhimsen's participated in the 'Quit India Movement', and he became known as a follower of Gandhi ji. His life can be seen from different angles.

Death

He died in a road accident in the year 2000.
