Cha Seo-won

Cha Seo-won (Korean: 차서원; born April 15, 1991), born Lee Chang-yeop (이창엽), is a South Korean actor. His breakthrough role was in The Second Husband (2022) where he won his first award as an actor. He is a cast member of the variety show I Live Alone since 2022.

In this Korean name, the family name is Lee. In the stage name or pen-name, the surname is Cha.

Personal life

Military service

Cha enlisted for his mandatory military service as an active duty soldier on November 22, 2022.[2] In December 2022, it was confirmed that Cha suffered a minor injury to his finger at the training center. But there is no hindrance to activities and return his training normally after receiving treatment.[3]

Relationship and marriage

On June 5, 2023, it was announced that Cha's fiancée, actress Uhm Hyun-kyung is pregnant and they would be getting married in May next year. They met while filming Second Husband.[4] On October 16, 2023, it was announced that Uhm gave birth to a son.[5]
