Champy's Famous Fried Chicken

Champy's World Famous Fried Chicken is a chain of Southern-style fried chicken restaurants located in the Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia tri-state area. The restaurant first opened in Chattanooga, Tennessee by the owners, Seth and Crissy Champion, in 2009. Seven additional locations were later added to the chain. According to the restaurant, their menu is based on the original family recipes of the owners and is modeled after the food and culture of the Mississippi Delta.[1]

Reviews

A review in The Chatter, a Chattanooga magazine,[2] and the American magazine, Garden & Gun, spoke positively of the restaurant.[3]

A local paper, The Nooga, offered a more mixed review of the menu and dining experience.[4]

Locations

After Champy's launch in Chattanooga, the owners expanded the chain to several locations in Alabama. Their first Alabama location was in Muscle Shoals, followed by locations in Daphne and Alabaster.
