Child of the Sun (album)
Child of the Sun is the only album by Mayte Garcia. It was released in 1995 in Europe, and the United Kingdom, but not formally released in the United States. The album was produced by Prince, and released by NPG Records. The album was not critically nor commercially successful. Songs on the album include a cover "If Eye Love U 2night", the only single from the album, and a Spanish version of the same song, titled "If I Love U 2 Nite"; "House of Brick", a version of "Brick House" by the Commodores; "However Much U Want", a duet with Prince; and "The Most Beautiful Boy in the World", a female version of the song "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World".
