Clarence Nishihara

Clarence K. Nishihara is a Democratic member of the Hawaii Senate, representing the state's 18th district from 2004 to 2023. He was the Chair of the Committee on Public Safety, Intergovernmental and Military Affairs.[2]

Nishihara announced at the end of the 2022 legislative session that he would be retiring from the Legislature, and would not run in the 2022 Hawaii Senate election.[3]
