Coimbatore Urban Development Authority
The Coimbatore Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA), otherwise known as the Coimbatore Urban Development Authority (CUDA),[1] is the nodal planning agency of Coimbatore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The CUDA administers the Coimbatore Metropolitan Region.It was set up for the purposes of planning, co-ordination, supervising, promoting and securing the planned development of the Coimbatore Metropolitan Area. It coordinates the development activities of the municipal corporations, municipalities and other local authorities.[2][3][4]
