Tayc

Born in Marseille to Cameroonian parents, Bouadjie launched his musical career in 2012 after relocating to Paris. He studied theatre and dance before moving to song and writing. His first release was a10-track mixtape, Alchemy on 30 May 2017 followed by a second mixtape H.E.L.I.O.S on 27 July 2018.[2]

Signing with the label H24 founded by Barack Adama of Sexion D'assaut, he worked on his debut studio album. In February 2019, Tayc released debut album NYXIA[2] which reissued two more times with, the Tome II on 21 June 2019 Tome III on 13 December 2019 all under the title Nyxia. Tome II particularly concentrated on his Cameroonian roots. He featured songs from his triple album with a big concert in Trianon de Paris on 19 October 2019.[3]

In 2021, he participated in the eleventh season of Danse avec les stars – the French version of Dancing with the Stars. He was partnered with professional dancer Fauve Hautot. On November 26, 2021, they won the competition with 56% of the voting over Bilal Hassani & his partner Jordan Mouillerac.

In week 1 & 2, half of the couples compete first week, the other half in the second week. Additionally, each judge had a golden buzzer; if the 4 judges pushed their buzzer, the couple was directly qualified for week 3 without receiving a single note.

In week 7, each couple receive a note from the public.

In semi-final, they finished first in the first round and so, got directly qualified for the final without doing their 2nd routine.

In final, judge notes only the first round. For 2nd & 3rd round, judge just chose the routine they preferred between the 2 finalists. (In the 2nd round, every judge preferred Tayc & Fauve routine. In the 3rd round, only François Alu preferred Tayc & Fauve routine).
