Courage (2021 film)

Courage is a 2021 German documentary film written and directed by Aliaksei Paluyan.[1][2] It follows an underground theatre group Belarus Free Theatre during the 2020–2021 Belarusian protests.[3]

The film had its worldwide premiere at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival in the Special section. The film was also nominated for the Berlinale Documentary Film Award.

Accolades

Courage won The Cinema for Peace Award for The Political Film of the Year in 2022.[4]
