Daniela Janet Monroy Cortez (born 21 September 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liga MX Femenil side Cruz Azul.[2]

Cruz Azul (2017–)

In 2017, she started her career in Cruz Azul, becoming a benchmark and one of the most outstanding players in the history of the team.[3][4][5]

International career

Monroy was part of the Mexico's team that won the gold medal in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.[6] Monroy played two of Mexico's five matches, and no scoring goals.[7]
