David Basulto
David Basulto is a Chilean architect and editor. He is the cofounder of the online architecture magazine ArchDaily and served as curator of the Nordic Countries Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Biennale of Architecture.

Career
Basulto studied architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in Santiago. In 2008, David Basulto and David Assael cofounded ArchDaily as an English-language architecture spinoff of Plataforma Arquitectura, becoming one of the most popular architecture websites worldwide.[2][3]
In 2012 Basulto received the National Award for Innovation from the Chilean Government[4] and four years later, he served as curator of the Nordic Countries Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Biennale of Architecture with the exhibition "In Therapy".[5]
In 2020, he and David Assael sold ArchDaily to Swiss media company NZZ Mediengruppe.[6] Since then, he serves as editor-in-chief of ArchDaily[7] and a member of the Mies Crown Hall America Prize International Advisory Council.[8]
David has lectured at Harvard, Escola do Cidade, Strelka Institute, Tsinghua University, TEC de Monterrey, the Center for Architecture, and at the annual American Institute of Architects Convention.[4]
