Devin Millar

He lives and grew up in Yacolt, Washington, and took singing lessons from a friend of his family's for a short time but self-taught himself by ear for Dance music production.[1] He began his music career with “Crack & Collide” as an extended play.[2]

In 2015, he released a song titled “Fedora” as a single.[3] He was signed by Voodoo Doughnut Recordings, then released an EP titled, “I’m a Celebrity”,[4][5][6] and competed in his school talent show that year, and won.

Later in 2017, his debut album “Delinquents” was released in addition to an "acoustic" version of it.[5][7][8] He then released a single titled “Adolescence” on Cavity Search Records.[9][10] The song was featured on the Hulu-based drama series, Shut Eye and four music videos were created to accompany these releases.[11] The videos were also used to promote his performances in Austin, Texas during SXSW of 2017.[12] According to a press release, he also preformed with Mega Pixel, Velvet, and Roselit Bone at the same event as a free show.[13]

Later, Devin returned to music and changed his image into a virtual band which features animated characters. He began creating animated videos and songs influenced by 90s and 2000s culture, and children's media. His singles "Doll Life" and “Unite” were released.[14][15] He released "Soulers" as his second album.[16]

The music videos for his singles “Hoody” and “BFD” were uploaded onto YouTube and released onto streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.[17][18][2] He later released the single, "Snack Shack" featuring Isabella Dougherty,[2] as well as "Children With Squirt Guns" and "ElectroVoice" for albums.[19][20]

He later released a single titled "Welcome To The Beach" featuring DreamDoll.[21][22]

Devin has an anti-establishment attitude and wishes to end double standards as he believes it ruins artist's creative power.[1] He wishes to be perceived as normal among the public.[23]

Devin's inspirations include Aqua, and Vengaboys and describes his style as the "girl next door" and the "farmer's daughter".[23]
