Dietmar Kolbus
Dietmar Kolbus (born January 17, 1966) is a German chess player who resides in and plays for the Isle of Man.

Chess career
In October 2014, Kolbus was defeated by Abhijeet Gupta at the start of the Poker Masters Isle of Man International chess tournament.[1]
In October 2018, Kolbus was one of two players out of a field of 20 who managed to draw against Wesley So, who held a simultaneous exhibition in the Isle of Man and won against the other 18 players.[2]
In June 2023, Kolbus was an organizer in the Isle of Man's primary school chess congress.[3]
Kolbus will compete in the FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2023.[4]
