Dimpy Bhalotia

Dimpy Bhalotia (born 1987)[2] is an Indian street photographer based out of London[3][4][5] and Mumbai. She was one of the winners of the British Journal of Photography's Female in Focus Award in 2020.[6]

Life and work

Bhalotia was born and grew up in Mumbai, India. After her schooling she moved to London and graduated in BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.[7][8][9]

The 2021 paperback edition of the novel Djinn Patrol on the Purple Line by Deepa Anappara used photographs by Bhalotia in the cover design.[10]
