Dog Creek (Osage River tributary)

Dog Creek is a stream in Miller County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] It is a tributary of the Osage River.[2]

The stream headwaters are at 38°07′09″N 92°28′21″W and the confluence with the Osage is at 38°14′58″N 92°26′00″W.[1]

Tradition states a man was bitten by a dog near Dog Creek, causing its name to be selected.[3]
