Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet

Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet is an American television series on Nat Geo Wild. The show premiered April 4, 2014.[1] The show stars Dr. Michelle Oakley and follows her adventures usually around her home base of Haines Junction, Yukon[2] and Haines, Alaska. Oakley, the daughter of Steve and Georgia Plantinga of Schererville, IN, is a 1987 graduate of Munster (IN) High School.[3] She studied Zoology at the University of Michigan, getting her degree in 1991.[4] She then attended the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada[5] and interned at the Calgary Zoo.[6] In 2023, the show entered its 11th season.
