Grand Casino Dunedin

The Grand Casino (formerly Dunedin Casino) opened in 1999 in the city of Dunedin in New Zealand. It is located in The Exchange, 0.5 kilometres (0.31 mi) south of the city centre, in the Southern Cross Hotel building. Originally, named the Grand Hotel was built in 1883 by Italian architect Louis Boldini. The interior finishing showcases the Victorian taste in classical architecture.

The Dunedin Casinos Charitable Trust has granted a total of $62,900 to 45 recipients in the November 2019. Major recipients include the Cancer Society and Otago Community Hospice.[1]

The Grand Casino was formerly known as Dunedin Casino. The name was changed in 2021. The new design won the Heritage Color Maestro Award at the Resene Total Color Awards.
