Elba Island (Michigan)

Elba Island is an island in the Detroit River.[2] It is in Wayne County, in southeast Michigan. Its coordinates are 42°06′09″N 83°08′51″W,[1] and the United States Geological Survey gave its elevation as 591 ft (180 m) in 1980.[1] Numerous types of fish spawn at the island, including northern pike,[3]:10 goldfish,[3]:11 carp,[3]:13 minnow,[3]:17 channel catfish,[3]:19 bullhead catfish,[3]:19 white bass,[3]:22 and white crappie.[3]:25
