Club career
Abate has been playing for Genoa since the creation of the women's football section in 2015.[4] She joined the Genoa first team in 2019 and became captain.[5]
International career
Giada has represented Italy at all youth levels. In 2019, she became the captain of the U16s and the U17s.[6][7] She played in the 2020 UEFA Women's U17 Championship qualification.[5]
