Greg Vaydik

Gregory Brooks Vaydik (born October 9, 1955) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. He played 5 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Chicago Black Hawks during the 1976–77 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1975 to 1982, was spent in the minor leagues.

Biography

Vaydik was born in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. As a youth, he played in the 1966 and 1967 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from Yellowknife.[1] He was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft by the Chicago Black Hawks, and played five games with them during the 1976–77 season without scoring any points.
