Gyirong
Gyirong (Wyl. skyid grong) is a Tibetan place name also transliterated Kyirong or Gyrong. To Lhasa Newar trans-Himalayan traders it was Kerung (Nepali: केरुङ), thence Kirong, Kirang etc.

- Zongga, the seat of Gyirong county, sometimes called Gyirong Town
