Hamza Sohail

Hamza Sohail (born July 16, 1997, Karachi) is a Pakistani actor and model.[1] He is known for his roles in dramas Raqeeb Se, Badshah Begum, Badshah Begum, Fairy Tale and Sirf Tum.[2][3]

Early life and education

Sohail completed his early education from Beaconhouse School System in Lahore after completing his O and A Levels then went abroad to England where he got his bachelor's degree and later he did Master's in Business Management.[4]

Career

After completing his studies, Sohail returned to Lahore to start working as an actor. There, he met with TV director Kashif Nisar, who cast him in the 2021 drama Raqeeb Se as Abdul Rahman. The drama serial was a critical success.[5] Then he worked in drama Main Haari Piya as Saood on ARY Digital.[6] Then he worked in web series Mrs. & Mr. Shameem as Ali with Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz.[4] Later he worked in drama Badshah Begum with Zara Noor Abbas, Ali Rehman Khan and Komal Meer he did the role of Pir Shahmir which was praised.[7]

In 2022, he worked in the drama Fairy Tale, written by Sarah Majeed and directed by Ali Hassan, which gave him wider recognition with Sehar Khan. He also appeared in Fairy Tale Season 2, where his performance was praised and his chemistry was liked by the audience.[8] In 2023 he acted in the drama Sirf Tum with Anmol Baloch and Mohsin Abbas Haider.[9]

Personal life

Hamza is the son of veteran stage and TV actor Sohail Ahmed.[10]
