Early life and education

Davis's parents are software engineers, and her mother served on the board of directors for UN Women USA.[3] Davis was raised Catholic, and she has nine siblings, three of whom were adopted and one of which was given up for adoption. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois.

Davis studied at Marian Central Catholic High School and studied economics at Elmhurst University.[4] She played volleyball for the Elmhurst Bluejays during her time at college.[5]

Career

Davis started producing content for social media in 2020. On TikTok, she built a following with a series named Breakup Quiz, where she helped participants figure out the reasons why their relationships fell apart.[6][7]

By March 2023, Pearl amassed over 1.36 million subscribers on YouTube. She was known for conducting street interviews and interviewing guests who are prominent in the manosphere online space.[8]

She hosts "The Pre-Game Show" podcast on YouTube.[9] Davis is being sued by a former guest for the exploitation and humiliation of a vulnerable person.[10] Sa Ra Garvey, a former co-host on the podcast, claimed that she underpaid Black creators on her show.[11] Davis has said she is considering suing her former colleague for defamation.

Davis also amassed over 900,000 followers on TikTok, until she was banned in 2022.[2][12]

Views

Davis holds conservative, misogynistic, and fatphobic views, describing herself as "anti-feminist".[2] She has credited right-wing political commentators Ben Shapiro and Thomas Sowell as inspirations for wanting to enter the media and has been described as the "female Andrew Tate".[2][13]

On June 28, 2023, she stated in a Twitter video that "women should not vote" and that "the courts, the legal system, all of society is basically pandering and simping for women."[6] In an interview with Ethan Klein on the H3 Podcast, she stated that "if feminists want the right to vote, right, then it should come with the draft." In the same interview, she argued that divorce should be illegal.[6]

Davis also published a now-deleted video in July 2023 called "Why Can't We Talk About the Jews?", which was widely criticized for containing anti-Semitic tropes.[14][15] In an interview with Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Uncensored, she stated that the song was about cancel culture and free speech rather than antisemitism.[16] She has previously stated that stories about slavery were embellished.[2]
