Hero of the Luhansk People's Republic
Hero of the Luhansk People's Republic (Russian: Герой Луганской Народной Республики) is the highest honorary title of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), a Russian civil-military occupation administration located in the partly-occupied Luhansk Oblast of eastern Ukraine. It was established in 2014. The title is awarded by the LPR's Head and its Presidium of the Council of Ministers. The gold star medal, awarded to heroes of the LPR, bears the inscription "Hero of the LPR” on its reverse. The block of the medal is a rectangular metal plate with fabric in teal, blue, and red, the colors of the flag of the LPR.
