Heterocampa umbrata

Heterocampa umbrata, the white-blotched heterocampa,[1] is a moth in the family Notodontidae (prominent moths) described by Francis Walker in 1855.[2][3] It is found in North America.[3]

A black to dark gray moth with its wings folded as in life. Long antennas extend from both sides of its head.
