Hoplopleura hirsuta

Hoplopleura hirsuta is a sucking louse that is known from North, Central, and South America. Its main hosts are cotton rats such as Sigmodon hispidus, Sigmodon ochrognathus, Sigmodon peruanus, and Sigmodon arizonae.[1]
