Plot

Jairam (Sachin Pilgaonkar) is an upcoming struggling actor who is destinied for success or so his astrologer sister Jaywanti (Nirmiti Sawant) believes. Jaywanti's husband Manohar (Ashok Saraf) is a lawyer but he is a fraud as one has to count the fingers of its hand after shaking hands with him. Manohar has not contested a single case in the court and prefers out-of-court settlements. One day, Jairam gets hit by the Tata Grande car driven by his co-actress Preeti (Bhargavi Chirmule). Preeti's brother Mahesh (Mahesh Kothare) is the Mumbai Police Commissioner and is married to Meena (Bhagyashree Rane). The car that was driven by Preeti during the time of the accident is owned by Mahesh so the hit-and-run case becomes that of him. To solve the issue, Mahesh goes to the hospital where Jairam is recovering but by then Manohar has decided to sue the owner of the car for a compensation of 50 lakh.
