Innbygda

Innbygda is the administrative centre of Trysil municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the river Trysilelva, about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) north of the village of Nybergsund. The 2.99-square-kilometre (740-acre) village has a population (2021) of 2,433 and a population density of 813 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,110/sq mi).[1]

Trysil Church is located in the centre of the village. The village also has several hotels and tourist businesses due to its location near the Trysilfjellet skiing area.[3]

Climate

Innbygda has a subarctic climate (Köppen Dfc) with cold winters and warm summers. Mean temperature in January is −10 °C (14 °F) and in July it is 14 °C (57 °F). Precipitation is moderate at 795 millimetres (31.3 in) annually.[4]
