Ivan Klymenko

Ivan Klymenko (Ukrainian: Іван Клименко; born in Kyiv) is a Ukrainian musician, producer, and songwriter. He is known for being an author to many tracks from chart-topping musicians. One of his most notable projects was his work with Kalush Orchestra on the song "Stefania", which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.[1]

Biography

Klymenko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.[2]

Klymenko was a street musician in China.[3]

He founded the band "Salto Nazad" and the label "Enko".[4] He has worked with Kalush Orchestra, Jamala, Alyona Alyona, Jerry Heil, Kola, Skofka, Kozak Siromaha.[2]

He is the author of more than 300 tracks,[5] including Ukrainian-language singles by Dorofeeva, "Thuty Himn" (Skofka), "Zori" (Kalush).[2] As of June 2023, 20 of his hits were on the Apple Music Ukraine Top 100 chart.[5]

He invented the character of KylymMen, who has contributed to the Kalush Orchestra band.[2]

In 2023, he became a coach on the season 13 of Holos Krainy alongside Dorofeeva, Artem Pyvovarov, and Julia Sanina.[4] He has the distinction of being the first non-singer coach on the show.
